After finishing school young people are often faced with a difficult decision whether to continue living with their parents or to start living separately. Some people argue that eighteen-year-olds are already prepared to live without parents while others claim that school-leavers are not mature enough to live on their own.
Personally, I am sure that most young people of eighteen are ready neither financially for independent life nor psychologically.(или лучше: I am sure that most young people of eighteen are not ready for independent life both financially and psychologically.) To start with, an average person of eighteen usually does not have enough money to afford his own flat or to pay a rent. Thus, the young who want to live independently are likely to have problems with the accommodation. Furthermore, lots of young people after reaching the age of eighteen do not have enough skills to manage the housekeeping themselves, so they will have to spend a great deal of time on routine activities in stead of studying. In addition, not all young people can cope with all the problems themselves and their parents' support is necessary for them.
Nevertheless, supporters of the opposite opinion are convinced that young people should try living on their own claiming that an independent life can bring them some valuable experience which is extremely useful in building their adult life.
Although it is true to some extent, I strongly believe that after leaving school young people should focus their attention on pursuing their higher education rather than on separating from their parents.
In conclusion, I am certain that a person should start independent life after ensuring a steady income, therefore it is unreal.
