Comment on the following statement. Most teachers believe that all subjects at school are equally useful.
What is your opinion? Do you agree or disagree with this statement?

According to the survey made by Russian psychologists children at school must study too many subjects. Without doubt, it is useful for being intelligent but it has to be said that not only children cope with requirements which are made by school teachers.
From my first-hand experience, I would like to underline that when I studied I enjoyed studying biology, chemistry, physics, geometry and many other subjects including physical education. However, in my last year beside doing lessons I had to prepare hard to the exams which were required by the university where I was going to study in the future and as a result I felt under pressure . That's why I think that students should learn in the last year only subjects which will be necessary for getting higher education.
On the other hand, eighty percent of teachers want all subjects to be compulsory during all period of schooling. They are sure that all these subjects are integral part of education and play a great role in developing intelligence in children. The other reason is that students can change mind in choosing career. For example, if a child learn only humanitarian sciences it would be difficult for him if he decided to get medical education or technician. In other words, if they learn all sciences it is easier for them make choice at any time to find out what is more interesting to them.
I strongly believe that learning all subjects are important and obviously enlarge one's scope. Although educational authorities must simplify method of teaching of subjects in order to make them less stressful.
