Letter to my dear friend about my holiday.
Dear Lily:
Long time no see! I hope you are fine. Several days ago, it was one of important days in our country—the Spring Festival. Throughout the country, everyone enjoyed the joyous and legal holiday. Some chose travelling, some call on friends and relatives and some people stay at home.
During the Spring Festival I had several weeks holiday. Most of time, I stayed at home with my family. Everyday, I played table tennis with my parents when I was free. Table tennis is the most popular sport in China from the children to the old; you can find many people enjoying it. Do you remember when we were children, we watched people played table tennis, we decided to learn it? And then we could gain some skills and play it without difficulties. After many years’ practice, I could play table tennis very well. What about you? Have you improved your skills?
Naturally, sometime I went with my friends to take a picnic on the countryside. A bright shining sun, a blue sky and a gentle breeze make the most favorable weather for flying a kite. We took some nice photographs when we climbed many many steps until we got the top and huffed and puffed enjoy beautiful views, like sunrise, sunset snow and stuff like that. We also stood the mountain in silence as the sun set over the horizon, listened the birds sing in the forests.
To tell you the truth, I felt very happy during my holiday. What did you enjoy most about your holiday? Please tell me your stories.
