Do you think that Sarahs mother is right when she says that parents should not take too much care of teenagers?

No, Sarah mother is wrong, because parents should be clever to understand that teenagers are in special period of their lives. They need help, understanding and carefulness. They want to be adults but at the same time they are children. Parents should show them the right way and to help them in difficult situations, but also parents need to respect their opinion and be loyal. If parents don't care their children it means they are bad parents... So this is what I think about it.

I don't no Sarah's mother but I suppose it depends on the teenager and his behaviour. If he or she is a problem child, the parents should constantly keep an eye on their son or dauther. But anyway, too much care doesn't help a teenager to become independent and adult

Care is something everyone needs - teens especially. But care (attention, encouragement, advice and support) should not be confused with being overprotective... Which is really bad.

Who is Sarah??? I agree with her mother)) teenagers should live their lifes, expend their view of life, they should learn to live without anybody`s help, to make own choice and decisions. if parents take too much care of teenagers, they will be weak and faint in the future)))

I think she is right.Teenagers want to be independent and they want people to treat them like adults,but they still depend on their parents for money and practical help.
