3) The Baikal is the largest...lake in the world. (Вообще-то озёра идут БЕЗ артикля! Опечатка в учебнике? Значит, авторы "наши")

6) The Mississippi is a deep...river, it is the .deepest..river in the USA.
7) The Mississippi..flows south.
8) The Urals is a famous chain...of mountains.
9) Is the Volga a large.( deep)...river?
10) There are four parts ...in Great Britain. They are England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
11) Are there any .plains..in Europe?
12) Washington, D.C.lieson the Potomac River.
13) The forest was stretching...to the east.

Пробелов больше, чем слов, поэтому в предл. про Волгу слово повторилось

Я бы поставила в 3-ем предложении the deepest потому что это так и есть- Байкал самое глубокое озеро в мире!
В 6-ом предложении я бы написала.. . a large river, it is the largest river in USA потому что это так и есть- Миссисипи- самая большая (длинная) река США
В остальном я согласна с Еленой Хлопенко :)))
