I would like to describe a town. It’s name is Tuma. It's a small town with the population of about 6 thousand people. There aren't theatres and museums, historical and memorial places. The TOWN is not far from Moscow, just about 200 km or so away. A few years ago I spent several hours in this city. The purpose of the visit was a meeting with the head of a dairy plant there. When I arrived there I saw a lot of people in the streets and I noticed that people had something in common. Well, their faces were covered with bruises and scratches. Many people had deep blue noses and swollen faces. And what’s the most important, all the people were absolutely drunk although it was a working day. Then I saw a woman who was sitting in a puddle. She could not walk because she could not manage her legs which were too weak. I decided to find out the way to the plant and I asked three gentlemen standing near a store. I said : Hello. Do you know where the dairy plant is? They did not say anything. They looked at me and were astonished because they had never seen a sober person without bruises and scratches on the face. When I entered the office of the plant director I saw an unshaven man in a blue tracksuit. It was not a big surprise any more. He was drunk, too. When I left the TOWN I was very happy because I knew for sure I would never come back to this terrible place.
