Dear Mr. Frank,
My name is Ben Dread. I am one of your regular customers and two months ago your employee helped me rent a flat downtown in a high-rise block of flats.
Unfortunately, more than a week ago something happened to the heating system. According to the contract, if any problems occur I have to contact you. I called the agent who was working with me, but he said that he was on holiday and gave me the number of Lycia Brown. While speaking with her she promised to deal with this problem upon finishing our conversation. Moreover, she promised to call me back the following day, in order to inform me about the progress of putting in the order for the heating system.
When I tried to call Lycia back, I was told that she was on sick leave and that I had to wait until she comes back to work.
Due to bad weather and no heating, I fell ill and spent some money on medication. I demand this expenditure to be covered by you as I firmly believe it is because of your failure to solve the problem in due time.
I would like the problem with the heating to be resolved quickly. If I do not hear from you by April 10, I will consider lodging a formal complaint with the Consumer Protection Agency.
