I’d like to tell you about my trip to Finland. It was A year ago, but it feels like it was yesterday. I and family decided to go there on the Christmas and New Year. It was THE greatest trip in my life! We arrived there the week before Christmas. We lived in big wooden house with fireplace and comfortable rooms.
On the first day I stood up on the snowboard. It was for the first time in my life. It was so awesome! Of course I I was falling for many times but it was worth it. Between the snowboarding and skiing we were drinking hot chocolate. And what trip without new friends? I met there a lot OFinteresting people. There WERE a lot people from Finland, Sweden and Germany. I made good friends with two young people from Sweden. Their names are Lars and Ingrid. We still communicate in Facebook.
On the 25th of December I AND my family went to A small town near our ski resort. When we went there we thought we were in fairytale! Hundreds of gingerbread houses with bright lights on the roof! We bought some food for making Christmas Dinner and went back on the slope. There was a great evening with the family.
But New Year was quite different. There was a cool party with all who were at the resort. We were dancing, singing and playing funny games. I went to bed near 4 o’clock.
There was so hard to leave this place. But I promised to myself to come back again as soon as possible!

I met a lot of interesting people from Finland, Sweden and Germany there. I made good friends with Lars and Ingrid from Sweden.We still communicate via Facebook.
On Christmas day we visited a small town not far from our ski resort. The town made us feel as we were in a fairy land. There were hundreds of gingerbread houses with bright lights on their roofs! We bought food for Christmas dinner and then went back on the slopes. It was nearly 4 a m before I got to bed.
It was very hard to leave but I made a promise to myself to come back.
