Правильно ли я составила вопрос и отрицание к предложению? Помогите пожалуйста.

1.Our ship crossed the ocean.
Did our ship cross the ocean?
Our ship didn’t cross the ocean.
2.The ship stayed in the port for five days.
Did the ship stay in the port for five days?
The ship didn’t stay in the port for five days.
3.There ARE some students in the hall.
Are there some students in the hall?
Are there any students in the hall?
There are no students in the hall.
There are not any students in the hall.

6. Our ship crossed the ocean.
Did our ship cross the ocean?
Our ship didn’t cross the ocean
Для образования Прошедшего времени (Past Simple), то же правил, что и для 3 лица (doesn't), только вместо does not, ставите did not (крат. didn't) для всех лиц от i до мн. числа.
Do (does, did) - это вспомогательный глагол для образования вопроса:
для 3 лица ед. числа - does (does he know - а он знает?) , для остальных в НАСТОЯЩЕМ ВРЕМЕНИ - do (Do i Know? - А я знаю?) , для ПРОШЕДШЕГО ВРЕМЕНИ ДЛЯ всех DID (did he know - а он знал? )
P.S. Do (does, did) используют только применительно к глаголам. Если в предложении нет глагола (например, она красивая - she is beutiful), то не нужно использовать does/

There are some studs in the hall (так правильно)
Чтобы поставить отр. и вопр. форму, нужно "are" (инфинитив be) заменить на прош. время и прибавить частичку not.
Т. е. Are there students in the hall?
There are NOT students in the hall - правильней There are NO students in the hall!!!
