Translate into English, using the Subjunctive Mood (object clauses and attributive clauses).

1. Хотелось бы мне, чтобы вы не были таким рассеянным и не задавали один и тот же вопрос несколько раз. 2. У ребенка очень хороший слух (to have a good ear for music). Жаль, что его не учат музыке. Его давно пора отдать в музыкальную школу.
3. Хотелось бы мне, чтобы вы не перебивали меня каждую минуту.

"Хотелось бы" можно перевести по-разному. Зависит от ситуации. Это просто желание -I'd like to ...или же желание, движимое недовольством нынешней ситуацией и выражением надежды на её изменение - I wish you would ...
1. I'd like you not to be so absent-minded and not to keep asking the same question.
( = I wish you were not so absent-minded and you wouldn't keep asking the same qiestion.)
2. The child has a good ear for music. I wish he were taught music. It's high time he were enrolled in a music school.
3. I'd like you not to interrupt me every minute. ( = I wish you wouldn't interrupt me every minute.)
4. I wish I hadn't said that; it seems to me he took offence at my remark.
5. I wished I had had the time and had been able to go to the Hermitage with them.
6. I'd like you to be (//stay) with me. = I wish you could stay with me.
7. I wish I had gone on this excursion. It is said to have been very interesting. ( = They say it was very interesting.)
8. I'd like you to keep your belongings//things in order. ( = I wish you would keep your things in order.)
9. I feel very bad. I'm afraid I may fall ill.
10. It was very late and we were afraid we might miss the train. = ...we might be late for the train.
11. The weather was very nice. I suggested going out of town and spending the day in the open air. // ...the day outdoors.
Однако здесь нет Subjunctive. После suggest употребляются такие формы Subjunctive: bare infinitive or should +bare infinitive.
I suggested we go out of town and spend the day outdoors. = I suggested we should go out of town and spend the day outdoors.
12. Make sure the students be informed about the change in the schedule.
13. We are very anxious take part//should take part in the concert.
14. He wanted to leave immediately, but I insisted he take off his coat and have a cup of tea. ( ...but I insisted he should take off his coat and have a cup of tea.
15. It's late. It's (high) time we were off.
16. It's high time you took back//returned the book to the library.
