a) A friend of mine got a very comfortable flat -- last month. It is ON the second floor IN a new block OF flats. I got a letter FROM my friend WITH several pictures OF her flat. IN one of the pictures you can see her family sitting AROUND the table IN the living-room. Ann is sitting WITH her husband and two sons. They are watching TV. It is IN the corner OF the window. There is piano TO the left OF the table and a small table WITH a telephone ON it TO the right. Ann is going to speak TO (WITH) me OVER the telephone tonight. You can see a lovely carpet IN the middle OF the room and some pictures ON the wall ABOVE the piano. My friend’s sons learn to play -- the piano. Besides they are fond OF reading books and have plenty OF them IN the…bookcase and ON the shelves.
b) I have got a room OF my own. I have rent it FROM my acquaintances. I share the room WITH a friend OF mine. We pay FOR the room $30 a month. It’s hard to find a lodging AT a lower price. I’m pleased WITH my flat. It is close TO the center and the bus stop is handy. As a rule we pay our landlady IN advance. We also have to pay a deposit FOR the front-door key and to keep WITH particular house-rules. I dream OF the times when I’ll have a flat OF my own.
