The house of my dream
An
English proverb says “Men make houses, woman make homes”. As I am
a girl I would like the place where I’ll live on my own to be a
home. I dream of having a house at the seaside for example the Mediterranean sea. Also I want to have
a swimming pool and a lovely garden. As you understand I’ll live in
a place with a warmer climate. That’s be a brand new terraced house
will all the luxuries you would expect from a house. May be my house
will be eccentric also it will be spacious, airy and comfortable. The
house will have all kinds of equipment: a fridge, a toilet, a bath, a
television, a dishwasher, a washing machine, connecting water and
electricity, plugging in a telephone and putting up a television
aerial. My house will be surrounding by a hedge. And I will hire a
gardener to take care of it and of my garden. There will grow various
flowers on both sides of the stone path leading from the gate to the
house. There will be a rare patio in front of the house where I will
spend the evenings sometimes with my friends or alone. And the
swimming pool will be behind the house where I’ll enjoy the cooling
water on hot sunny days.
What about interior of my house. My home
would have a soft and light palette with pops of color in rooms but
overall a soothing and light neutral feeling. By the way I want to
have 10 rooms, my home will be 2-storey building. There will be a
living room, a bathroom, a kitchen, a dining room, 2 or 3 bedrooms
for me, my family and our guests, also a room of rest with big
bookcases,an easel and some other things for intellectual development.
And of course I would like to decorate my home with different
pictures, our photos and figurines of kittens.
Perhaps that's all I
can say about the house of my dream, And now I must do everything
possible that my dream come true!
