Возможно, первые строки не из письма? По-моему само письмо начинается с thank... Ну, я перевела то, с чего начинается у Вас русский вариант. Учите английский! Тем более, что у Вас там живет сестра, и Вам нужно общаться с её новой семьей. Успехов!
Пояснения: saw во 2 предложении не трогайте, оставьте в такой форме, это Subjunctive Mood - так и должно быть! ..that she buy warm clothes - тоже Subjunctive Mood в дополнительном придаточном, s на конце не нужна!

Перевод просто жесть. Уши мои скрутились в трубочку от возмущения. Лучше заплатите знающему человеку, и он переведёт всё в лучшем виде.

Нам то смысл понятен.
Дело в том, что в английском языке немного другое постороение предложений. Обязательно идет сначала подлежащее потом сказуемое, а потом все остальные члены речи.
Могу немного подкорректировать, но я тоже в английском не спец, так что правильность не гарантирую. (5 минут)
