Dear Mary,
I am happy to receive your letter and to get great news about your success in the competition.
I was sure that the first place would be yours because You had worked very hard at this project for 2 years.
Unfortunately, I was busy with translating articles about the camp where I am staying now and this is the reason why I haven't written to you so long.
Now shortly about me. I have fun and enjoy with my new friends, which I have met at the camp. In addition we combine rest with the practice to speak in English, and we do a lot of projects about how to save the planet from pollutions. This camp is known all over the world. Children from almost all countries of the world spend summer vacation here. This is an international camp and children can do both here - study and rest .
Every day we hold discussion about the environment problems and how to find solutions.So I don't have time to be bored!
Also I would like to ask you some questions. First of all, can you, if it is possible, to send me books which I lent you last summer. Then I would like to ask whether you visited India as planned or not and when you are going to visit me next time.

теперь по поводу - стоит ли удивляться, что потом наши едут за границу и там позорятся с вот таким вот деревянным английским. в передыдущем ответе! СТОИТ! и это не позор говорить на чужом тебе языке даже с ошибками! главное, что ты пытаешься разговаривать и люди обычно это понимают, не смеются, а пытаются тебе помочь. они уважают попытку иностранцев говорить на их языке. это я точно знаю - проходила!))))))))))

2 предложение: "as you we had" - что это вообще? кто - хэд? ю или ви?
2 абзац - with friends made in the camp. чо? может, with friends I`ve made?
кстати я думаю тут i have fun and enjoy, а не континиус. ты же не момент написания письма тащишься.
тогда уж веди все в продолжительном времени, а то ты с него на симпл только так прыгаешь.
в вопросе про индию в конце поставь уж знак вопроса, что ли.
