В дружеских письмах вспомогательные глаголы обычно пишут в сокращенной форме, в деловых - только в полной. В английских учебниках иное написание считается ошибкой: написание вспомогательных глаголов в полной форме в дружеском письме придает ему ненужный формальный характер, а неполная форма в деловом письме является проявлением недостаточного уважения к адресату.
