Hello, I decided to talk with you about my plans for the future. It seems pretty awesome to me if I talk with you about this topic because you are also my study advisor.
Well…… I begin at the beginning. When I was child I mean 7-8 years old, all my friends knew perfectly well what they want to be when they grow up. One of them wanted to become a doctor, another to build houses, or say become a painter. Everytime when I was asked the same question, I could not answer it. It’s been almost ten years now and I still can’t answer this question. During these 10 years, I realized that I am such a person who wants to be 100% confident about his decision, especially about the decision on which your whole life depends. So I don’t want to make a mistake by going study somewhere. Moreover, I dont have any idea about what I want to study, not even the slightest idea. I am thinking about horeca management education, about opening my own business, I also thinking about going to do a technical education. But I'm not sure that these are the things that I want to spend my whole live for.
But the most interesting idea that occurred to me was the idea of becoming a pilot, which still does not go away from my head. One day I’ve seen a YouTube video, that was filmed from the cockpit. The video lasted for about 15 minutes in which the pilot managed to take off, fly and land the plane. It was so beautiful up there that I had goosebumps all over my body. I even never thought about to become a pilot. Since I saw this video I want to become a pilot. If I will become a pilot I will see this beauty what I saw in this video almost everyday. I will also travel for free and even get paid for it, in addition. This is my dreamjob. I really want to have a such job that I will love and in which I will do what I really like, I want a job that makes me think like: If I want to keep doing this, I have to pay someone because I love to do it, but for some reason THEY pay for me. And a job as a pilot is a only job for me that makes me think like that. I have readen about so many studies on the Internet, I went to a lot of open days of highschools but I found nothing more interesting for me than a commercial pilot education.

Only there are a few problems. Firstly, I read that in the future there will be a lot of pilots and because of this it will be difficult to find a job + technology will not stand still, everything changes so there is a chance the work of the pilot can be completely replaced by robots. I don’t know anything for sure, I still need to ask people about this topic (about if there will be work on this area in 10 years). In addition, this study is very expensive and I haven’t thought yet about how I will finance it. Thirdly, to start with this study I need to be older than 18. Because I will be only 17 in September, I need to wait a year. that is why I came up with the idea to take a gap year in which I would think who I want to become. My mom, brother and most of my friends are totally disagree with me. They think that I will be idle, lose a year, and then another, third, and so on. But of course, I will not just sit on the couch playing the playstation all year or something like that. Maybe I was like this in my childhood, but in recent years I have developed self-discipline. In this gap year I am planning to go to English courses, to study music, I will read many books, I also planning to get my drivers licence in this year and maybe I will even go to work abroad for a couple of months in the summer as a waiter to practice my English after taking extra courses. Or I can also take English group courses abroad. So as you can see I have a lot things to do and I really need this year. I also want to take a couple of guitar lessons
