Owning а car is not а necessity for several reasons. First, modern time is characterized by a highly-developed transportation system and a high degree of transport infrastructure's differentiation. Most countries of the World, both developed and developing, have a public transportation system, that is presented by mechanized and driven by human muscular strength vehicles. Populated metropolises of the countries of First, Second and particularly Third World have metro system. In some cases, the use of public transport is objectively more rational alternative rather then a personal car - it consumes less amount of financial resources and sometimes even less amount of time. Secondly, representatives of the propertied population stratum have an objective opportunity to use the service of personal drivers, or they can rent a car for a definite period of time. As an another alternative, also more available for possessing classes, a taxi transport service can be used at most locations, specially at cities. Despite of some obvious disadvantages of this variant, the main advantage is that there is no need to engage in vehicle depreciation. Of course, the objective possibilities of using alternative modes of transport are depended not only on the financial condition of a person, but also on a specific location. For example, most of the Gulf countries have poor public transport infrastructure. Therefore, it is more available for these countries' citizens to use taxi service or to hire personal drivers.
