I am writing to request that you give me a chance to take part in one of your student exchange programs, specifically the Summer program lasting 2-8 weeks with a choice of intensive foreign language classes. If given my choice of country, I would choose England. I am very keen on participating in in such a program for many reasons. First, visiting another country to obtain new knowledge is very interesting. Second, being able to speak with many people whose native language is English would provide me with many more opportunities to learn English than I would otherwise have. Also, it would be very interesting to learn how teenagers my age live in England, what they do in their spare time, and who they want to become in the future. In my interactions with them, I would also do my best to speak with them, in English, about Russia. I think that would definitely improve my English. By studying its geography, I have learned that England is a beautiful country. I would love to see Big Ben and all the other attractions in the country. I hope that I would spend my time there wisely, learning the traditions and customs of its inhabitants. Participating in your Summer student exchange program in England would be an unforgettable experience that would be very useful for my future.
