Знание инострынных языков очень полезно в разных сферах жизни.
I need it to understand computer technology. (тут тоже маленькая неточность) - Мне он нужен для понимания компьютерных технологий.
А все остальное верно. Поработать над пунктуацией в русском тексте не помешало бы)))
