Часто достаточно слова so:

Можно перевести с помощью глагола mean:

Does it mean it's not your fault? (ты не виноват) Does it mean you are not guilty? (в суде)

Когда есть контраст между ожидаемым, полагаемым и тем, на что указывают факты, "получается, что" можно перевести как the facts tell us/me that ...

We used to think the universe had no limits but the facts tell us (that) it does.
