Когда употреблять "you and I'', а когда "you and me"?

I может быть только подлежащим и только ПРИ ГЛАГОЛЕ, это так называемое приглагольное местоимение. При отсутствии глагола I автоматически превращается в me, даже если это подлежащее, а не дополнение. Поясню это на приведённом примере:
You and I should have lunch, just you and me. В первом случае "Я" при глаголе, поэтому I, во втором случае "Я" без глагола, поэтому me, хотя me заменяет здесь подлежащее.
По той же причине говорят Me, too, а не I, too и так далее.
Во французском языке местоимение "я" - je/moi ведёт себя точно так же, во французской грамматике этот вопрос хорошо разработан.

"you and me" - грамматически правильно. "you and I'' - разговорное. Разницы в значении никакой.

Первый вариант какой-то официальный и звучит неестественно.

You and I - это местоимения-подлежащие, обозначающие субъект (отвечает на вопрос кто?) - You and I went to cinema yesterday - Ты и я вчера ходили в кино.
You and me - это местоимения-дополнения, обозначающие объект (отвечают на вопрос кого?) - He saw you and me yesterday - Он вчера видел тебя и меня.

У американцев в качестве подлежащего в коротких ответах часто I заменяется на me. Это неправильно, с точки зрения классического английского, но так говорят, и это уже практически норма.

Consider the following sentence: You and I should have lunch.
Is the correct form of this sentence You and I ...or You and me ...This is a common source of confusion in English.
Fortunately, there's an easy way to decide whether to use I or me in such sentences. All you have to do is drop the word you then try the sentence with I and me one at a time. For example:
I should have lunch.
Me should have lunch.

Clearly the preferred form in this case is I; thus, the original sentence was correct to use you and I.

Here's another example: He'll blame you and I. Drop the word you then try the sentence with I and me one at a time, like so:
He'll blame I.
He'll blame me.
You can see that the second of these is correct. This means that the original sentence should have been: He'll blame you and me.
Easy.
On a related note, when using phrases such as you and me, you and I or them and us, it has traditionally been considered courteous to place the reference to yourself last. For example, we prefer:
He'll ask you and me later.
over:
He'll ask me and you later.

Говорят you and me. Первый вариант лексически звучит коряво.
