I’d like to present a project “The Best of All Possible Worlds’. It was done by Karpunina Maria. I’ve chosen THIS topic, because I visited St.-Petersburg. To my mind St.-Petersburg is the best of all possible worlds. I’d like to live in St.-Petersburg, firstly, because it is A very beautiful and clean city. There are many picturesque places and beautiful streets, squares and parks in St.-Petersburg. There are a lot of museums, theatres, and monuments THERE. Another reason for my choice is THE famous white nights. St.-Petersburg attracts me most of all, because it is A cultural capital of Russia.
And now have a look at the photos that illustrate the best of all possible worlds.
St.-Petersburg is a really fine city of Russia in which you (will) CAN (здесь - или, или) find many new and interesting things. Saint Petersburg is the second largest city in Russia and one of the most beautiful cities in the world. It is a city of great beauty, with palaces, cathedrals, AND churches.
A historical and architectural centre of St.-Petersburg is Palace Square THAT IS (WHICH IS) one of the largest in Europe. Going TO Palace Square it is possible to see THE Winter Palace, an obelisk (???) to THE hero city. Petersburg many museums house the world’s most famous art collectionS. The Hermitage, for example, contains the richest collection of pictures in the world.
