В своём эссе я решила написать о преимуществах и недостатках такого транспорта как: автомобили, водный транспорт, общественный транспорт, железнодорожный транспорт, воздушный транспорт и метро. Для этого мне пришлось пообщаться с людьми, и узнать что же они думают по поводу таких видов транспорта в наше время. Преимущества автомобилей - можно ездить куда хочешь. Недостатки – дорогое удовольствие, и высокие цены на бензин. Насчёт метро, преимущества - пробок нет, быстро, дешево. Недостатки - не все люди нормально переносят нахождение под землей, душно, шумно, тесно, страшно. Что касается достоинств и недостатков воздушного транспорта, то они всем широко известны. Это очень высокая скорость доставки грузов и пассажиров, за которую придется много платить. Что касается водного транспорта то у него есть такие преимущества как дешёвый транспорт, а недостатки такие как ограниченность движения и если водный транспорт сломается и человек не умеет плавать, то он может утонуть. Преимущества общественного транспорта в Латвии нет, потомучто есть только недостатки такие как: переполненный транспорт, дорогие билеты.
In my essay I have decided to write about the advantages and disadvantages of such kind of transportation as cars, water transport, railway transport, air transport and the underground. To make this, I had to talk to people and to find out what they think of these kinds of transportation nowadays.
The advantage of the cars is the possibility to go wherever you want. The drawbacks are high costs and high petrol prices. As for the underground, the pros are the absence of the traffic jams, speed and low prices. Cons are the following: not all people may stand being under the ground, it is stuffy, crowded, frightening.
