My family’s country.
My family came from Kraków, in Poland. My grandparents emigrated to Russia in the 1950s because they wanted to change their annoying(tedious, monotonous) old lifestyle. Poland is a country in Central Europe. It’s next to (borders on)Germany to the west, the Czech Republic to the south, Ukraine and Belarussia to the east, and the Baltic Sea to the north. Warsaw is the capital of Poland. Poland is one of the few mononational states in the world, with about 98% of the population being ethnic Poles. The Polish word «Cześć» (Cheschch) means «Hello» and «Goodbye»at the same time! The popular cosmetic brand MaxFactor was developed by Poland's Maximilian Faktorowicz – a successful businessman, cosmetician(cosmetologist?), chemist, and wigmaker. He established his first shop in the Russian city of Ryazan. Another interesting thing about my native city is that Winnie-the-Pooh is such a popular character there that a Warsaw street is named after him, "Ulica Kubusia Puchatka." The Polish don’t want to destroy their old cities and they save (treasure, take great care of) historical houses and memories.

I've lived in Russia all my life. My grandparents used to live in Poland but my parents had moved in Russia before I was born. Russia is the biggest country in the world. But, unfortunately, the main its part is situated within the Arctic Circle, so the a lot of people live in its smaller southern part which is rather sad.The population of Russiais is said to be diminishing, but this is controversial(arguable).The Polish and the Russian languages are very similar. A lot of words sound alike in Polish and Russian and they both have a similar structure of the sentence. The climatic differences are insignificant. What is different, however, is the landscape . In Russia there are valleys, mountains, lakes, seas, rivers, even deserts! Russia is a multinational country. The most popular tourist destinations in Russia are Moscow and Saint Petersburg, the current and the former capitals of the country and big cultural centers. They feature such world-renown museums as Tretyakov Gallery and Hermitage, famous theaters like Bolshoi and Mariinsky.
Living here.
I live in Chekhov. Chekhov is a small town near(outside) Moscow, the capital of Russia. My parents and I spend a lot of time outdoors. We oftensit at cafés. Last weekend we were to the woods. In Chekhov there are quite a number of big factories(plants), like Danone and Gydrostal. I like to go swimming at the pool. Previously, in the place of our town there was a village named Lopasya, but it was agglomerated, so it’s a town now. It was named in honor of the great Russian writer and doctor Anton Chekhov? which is a good thing. I really love this country. My parents don’t speak Polish,of course, but my grandparents do. (We often go to visit them). I love the town where I live now, but I really miss my real home, so from time to time we go to see our relatives in Poland.

We always come to them. I love town where I, but I’m really missing my real homeland, so sometimes we come to see our relatives in Poland.
