Тема: прогресс, это всегда хорошо или плохо, как вы думаете?

Since the time, when people appeared on Earth and until now, they never stoped the process of developing themselves and our world. Progress always existed, however, nowadays it became more rapid. Everyday people create something new and useful for humanity in order to satisfy their needs and demands. I strongly believe, that progress always provides a development in a positive way and has many benefits. These are some of them:
First of all, every new technology is created in order to make people's life easier. I mean, nowadays there are many machines that are used to make those things, which in the past only people were able to do. There are thousands of of these machines on the factories and companies.
Secondly, new creations help people to save their time. For instance, such machines as microwaves helps to heat a food quickly, copying machine can make copies of thousands books and there is no more need in handwriting.
Thirdly, progress contributes not only development technologies, but also an development of people. They are able to gather knowledge easier, than it was before. For example, internet provides people with a huge amount of information and moreover, a person is able to find something that he needs in a moment. It became easier to learn languages. A person is able to find a native speaker in networks such as facebook, twitter, myspace and etc. There are many people who are ready to help the language learners. For example, I also try to communicate with people from different countries by skype in order to improve my English, German and French languages.
So, taking everything into account, I can surely say, that progress is always better than staying on one place. Furthermore, even if someone can argue my point of view, the progress will never stop, because everything on our Earth is in motion. And this motion should always be directed on improvement and development of people and our society.

Every day people create (invent, come up with )something new and useful for humanity in order to satisfy their needs and demands(humanity - their?или its?). I strongly believe that progress always provides (a) positive development and has many (offers a lot of) benefits. These are some of them:
Firstly, every new technology is created in order to make people's life easier(the nuclear bomb, for example). What I mean is that nowadays there are many (there's a lot of) machines (that are) used to make things which in the past only people were able to do. There are thousands of such machines at plants and factories.
Secondly, new inventions help people save their time. For instance, microwaves help to heat food quickly, copy machines can make copies of thousands books and there is no more need to write.
Thirdly, progress concerns not only technology development, but human development as well. People can acquire knowledge easier than before. For example, the Internet provides us with a huge amount of information so that a person(one, you) can find anything he or she (you) needs in a moment(almost instantly). It is easier to study languages. A person is able to (You can always) find a native speaker in networks such as facebook, twitter, myspace and etc. There is a lot of people who are ready to help language learners.(For example,) I also try/seek to communicate with people from different countries by skype in order to improve my English, German and French.
So, taking everything into account(to sum it all up/to summarize), I can(confidently) say that moving forward/on is always better than staying in one place. Furthermore, even if someone can argue my point of view, progress will never stop(come to a halt) because everything on our Earth is in motion. And this motion should always be directed on (to) improvement and development of people and our society(should aim to improve and develop man and society.
