Dear Natasha,

Sorry for not having replied for so long, but we have just returned from New York where we spent a short vacation.

It was quite a pleasant flight, we landed with an hour's delay though. Then we had to wait for an hour in the airport because of checking up. Finally we got out of the airport and took the train to Manhattan. I was very much warried because it was my first trip to America.

The following days we visited a lot of different places in Manhattan and Brooklyn.
As Anton adores art we spent the whole day in the Museum of Modern Art and despite a long queue we managed to ascend the Empire State Building

Concerning means of transport we took taxi as it is not expensive. There is no difficulty in finding a place to eat at in the city in the evening as well because of numerous cheap restaurants. At lunch time we were going to some café where it was possible to drink a cup of coffee have a sandwich.

Although our stay there wasn’t long-lasting I really liked New York. Anton liked it too so we decided to go there next year.
