Could you revie my essay-letter to the bank. Thanks a lot for help

6. You have had a bank account for a few years. Recently you received a letter from the bank stating that your account is $240 overdrawn and that you will be charged $70 which will be taken directly from your account. You know that the information is incorrect.
Write a letter to the bank. Explain what has happened and say what you would like them to do about it.

Dear Mr. Black,

I have recently received a letter from your bank postmarked July 7, 2011 which states that I am overdrawn on $240. Moreover, this letter states that I must pay a fine of $70 which would be withdrawn from my current debit account.

I would like to inform you that I believe this to be a mistake on your part. In the past three years, I have never withdrawn more money than I had in my existing account. I have been living in Russia during that time while on a business trip and subsequently have never had to use dollars in my transactions. I only used by debit account when I regularly deposited $1000. In addition, I received a statement from your bank about three months ago which stated that I was not in a state of deficit in regards to my bank account.

I firmly believe that this is a mistake, and I am requesting that this information be rechecked and that I be provided with the balance sheet of my account from March 5, 2011 to the current time.
I am enclosing with this letter statement from your bank that indicated my account has a positive balance.
I appreciate your attention in this matter and I am looking forward to your prompt reply.
Yours sincerely,
Ben Ten

Dear Mr. Black,

I have recently received a letter from your bank postmarked July 7, 2011. It notifies me about overdraft of $240 on my account. Moreover, I must pay a fine of $70 which would be withdrawn from my checking account.

I would like to inform you that I believe this to be a mistake on your part or some type of fraudulent transaction done by a third party.
First of all, I have a checking account in Russian Rubles and I don't have any accounts in foreign currency with your bank. The only time when I use dollars is my pay day when I regularly deposit a $1000 paycheck in my checking account and this amount is converted into Russian Rubles. I have been living in Russia all this time, never traveled or been on a business trip abroad and subsequently I have never had to use dollars in my transactions.
I check my account balance and activities on regular basis through your website and get my bank statements monthly with the list of all transaction including account maintenance fee charged on the 1st of each month. During the last three years, since I have been a customer of your bank, I have never withdrawn more money than I had on my account. In every single statement I received from your bank my account has always shown a positive balance and has never been overdrawn.
With this letter I am enclosing a statement from your bank for the period of time when the alleged overdraft occurred. The statement clearly indicates my account had a positive balance and there weren't any transactions totaling $240 or more on any given day.
I firmly believe that the situation with the overdraft is a mistake. I would like to be provided with a copy of detailed records of all activities on my bank account from March 5, 2011 and to the current time. Also, I am requesting this information to be rechecked, $240 transaction to be verified, removed from records and $70 overdraft fee canceled.

I appreciate your attention in this matter and I am looking forward to your prompt reply.
Yours sincerely,
Ben Ten

I was not in a state of deficit - звучит шершаво для носительского уха, поэтому лучше использовать overdrawn и по отношению к счёту, а не к владельцу счёта.
Ну вот, как-то так.
