Пожалуйста, проверьте ошибки (английский)

Написала текст, но в употреблении времен глагола могут быть ошибки. Пожалуйста, если нетрудно, гляньте :)

It was three o’clock in the morning when the phone
rang.

“Your grandmother Raya died yesterday,” – cried my
mother.

I stand speechless
and try to recall the unusual story what happened to me yesterday.

I had a hard physical training. After it I was
standing in a bus station, waiting for a bus that would bring me to student hostel.
It was five o'clock and usually all buses are full. But then I could find a
seat as soon as I got into the bus. I was so tired that I had fallen asleep.
I had such a feeling that somebody was sitting near me
and repeating my name. It was an old woman, but I saw just her lips. I couldn’t
listen to her, but I heard only my name.With no reason, suddenly my eyes opened wide. The bus
was already full but nobody had a seat near me. Strange.
When I had arrived in the hostel, I forgot the whole
story. I was invited to celebrate my friends’ birthday. We were laughing,
playing, dancing and singing. I thought it was one of the best and happiest
days of my life until at three o’clock in the morning I got a sad phone call from
my mother.

I remember my granny as a very generous and
kindhearted person. Her bright dark eyes and wrinkled face. Her smile and her
nickname “The Hottest Summer Sun“.My dream in the bus could be a way she said to me
“Goodbye”.
