Nowadays there are exams in the majority of educational institutions. Some people think that examinations are the motivational tool which encourages learners to study with more effort while others do not agree with them and say that exams do not stimulate students to learn enthusiastically.
In my opinion, exams make be determined to study diligently. Firstly, a success in examinations gives a brighter future. It makes a person put a lot of effort into study. Secondly, the healthy ambition makes the majority of students increase their efforts during the preparation for examinations. If they show how capable, they will be proud of themselves and their mood improves. Finally, if the person do really well in exams, he will be able to save a lot of money. I mean that students with the best examination results have an opportunity to get a free education and a merit scholarship.
However, there is a different point of view that exams are not a motivator to learn with more diligence. The opponents think that in contrast to knowledge gained success in examinations do not guarantee the brighter future.
I am afraid I cannot agree with this point of view because success in exams provides admission to good higher education and a successful graduation. It is important to an employer. In addition, calendars of exams are prepared by specialists.
In conclusion, I strongly believe that exams make students willing to study hard because the future, a self-evaluation and an opportunity to get a financial gain depend on its results.

Это егэшное эссе. Они их пишут на диких списках конструкций и синонимов, которых в реальном английском в глаза не видели. И самого английского не видели. Полный языковой дальтонизм (я не об авторе темы, а обо всех.)
